OPENING HEARTS AND SHAPING OUR GOD-GIVEN DESTINY
Issues of Life International Ministries Welcomes You
Issues of Life International Ministries engages the body of Christ through selected paracletes methods of ministry. Our mission, vision, programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that will come alongside churches, Christ-believers and other God directed communities to reach their goals and fulfill their divine purpose. Learn more about the positive impact we are making and join us in bringing about abundant life changes to our world.
Our mission is to evangelize the lost, equip the believer, empower the church, edify the Body and enlarge the Kingdom of God. We are called to carry out our mission by teaching the word of God in a simple and relevant manner to help people connect with life-changing principles that if applied will lead to abundant life. We strive to build productive relationships in our God-given pursuit to present every person complete (spiritually mature, fully trained and perfect) in Christ Jesus. (Colossians 1:28).
Recognizing the enormity of the challenges of Luke 4:18-19 "to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised;" Issues of Life is dedicated to making a lasting impact in the lives of people in our sphere of influence. While our efforts are driven by our mission, we cast a wide net through our vision – to see people saved, healed, set free, discipled and made whole.

What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible truth, without error and all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine and Christian living.
We believe that there is but one true living God. He is infinitely perfect in all attributes. He is the creator and sustainer of all things, and He eternally exists in three Spiritual persons- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus being the true Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for all the sins of humanity, was buried, and arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended into Heaven to be seated at the right hand of the Father and will return to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We believe that Holy Spirit is the divine helper, counselor and instructor for our daily lives. That by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior, the gift of the Holy Spirit is given to believers as our Comforter for living in spiritual truth.
We believe that salvation is God’s gift to those who repent from their sinful ways and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior. That by truly receiving Jesus into your heart, we receive the eternal gift of salvation and will spend eternity in heaven with Him.
We believe in the sacraments of baptism in water of a born again believer on the authority of the New Testament church; and the solemn ordinance of the Holy Communion as given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that a New Testament Church on earth is a body of baptized believers, assembled together in the faith and fellowship of the Word of God by the orchestration of the Holy Spirit, observing the ordinances instituted by Christ; governed by His laws as its only head; and that the mission of the church is clearly set forth in the great commission; that Christ's promise to build His church upon Himself and the gates of hell shall not overtake the Church.
Issues of Life International Ministries (Issues of Life) was founded by Harriet Dennis. After completing undergraduate studies in Jurisprudence, Harriet served as a bi-vocational pastor for seven years in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Upon completing that assignment, she sought to advance the kingdom of God through unique opportunities in multi-levels of church ministries. Harriet continued leading through interim pastorates, global missions and evangelism, executive coordinator for pastors’ fellowships, leadership development and church planting. Devoted to the Macedonian call “come over…and help us” Acts 16:9, Issues of Life sought to come alongside churches and leaders to help opened hearts and shaped the destiny of men and women around the world.
